A specialist in Real Estate and Public Law with deep regulatory expertise, João built his practice at Cuatrecasas in Lisbon, working across both departments before moving into government as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Deputy Secretary of State for the Economy under Portugal's XIX Constitutional Government. Before that, Brussels — internships at the European Commission and the European Parliament, where he saw first-hand how policy is shaped before it becomes law. Today, João heads the firm's real estate and public law practice, fusing both disciplines into a single, integrated advisory offering.
